Research Parternships/Organizations with Interests in TLS
International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Commission 5.  The working groups under the umbrella of the ISPRS bring together scientists working on TLS, photogrammetry and other 3d modelling methods and provide useful links, tips and a whos-who of researchers in this field.
Heritage3d: A UK project funded by English Heritage aimed to deliver advice in the use of TLS for cultural heritage applications.
Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society: UK research society with a special interest group on TLS.
